    FAQ

What is the lifespan of a Doulton® ceramic filter candle?

The lifespan of a Doulton® ceramic filter element can vary based on usage and water quality, but typically, a filter can last up to 6 months with regular use. To maximise the lifespan, clean the filter regularly and replace it when you notice a decline in performance or after the recommended time period.

How often should I replace the ceramic filter candle?

We recommend replacing your filter every 6 months. If you notice a drop in water flow or a change in taste, it may be time to replace the filter. Check the product manual for specific recommendations for your filter model.

What level of bacteria can my Doulton Water Filter cope with?

Our filter forms a physical barrier for pathogens, trapping the bacteria in your water on the surface of the ceramic while allowing clear, mineral-rich, great-tasting water though. If your water flow lessens before 6 months, we recommend that you change your filter
